Emergency Procedures For Dining Center Coordinators
After receiving a report from a driver that a participant did not answer the door, the Coordinator should:
1. Call each of the participant’s emergency contacts
2. Call the local hospital
These steps should be pursued until the Coordinator is ready to leave for the day. At that time you should:
3. Call Highland Valley Elder Services and ask for the participants’s Care Advisor. If the Care Advisor is not available, ask for the BACK UP Care Advisor and report the situation.
