DRIVER’S PROCEDURES

1. Do not leave a meal if a person is not home. Leave a blue card. Call the Dining Center at your next stop.

2. If a person is unconscious:
a. Call the local emergency number.
b. Call the Dining Center.

3. If a person is on the floor but has remained conscious:
a. Do not pick them up.
b. Ask their permission to call an ambulance.
c. Call the emergency number if a person refuses an ambulance. Explain the situation to the police.
d. Call the Dining Center.

Be specific in name and location when giving a referral to police or ambulance.
