Continue the Low Impact Exercise and Weight Training Program. This is based upon a variety of abilities and needs of elders, helps to maintain or improve health and independence, increases level of overall activity, and allows for elders to age in place. The program is offered 3 times per week, with 1 hour for each session. The trained instructor teaches balance, strength, and weight training through exercises that utilize repetitive movements of the body and the option of using hand held and ankle weights.
