Local Dining Centers

The goal of our Nutrition Program is to make sure that every person over 60 receives at least one nutritionally balanced meal each day. The menu, created by a Registered Dietician, is compliant with national nutrition standards for older adults.

About the Local Dining Center Program

Elders can choose to have a hot noon meals plus social engagement, or take a meal to go at a number of  local dining centers throughout our 24-town area.  Community diners are encouraged to join the Nutrition Project Council will gives feedback directly to program administrators.  Twice per year, enjoy a Lunch and Learn with a registered dietitian who will discuss educational topics during lunch.

Our Meals on Wheels program is also an option for dining and good nutrition.


Get in on a Good Thing

We're always happy to talk to individuals who are interested in helping out in our Nutrition Program. Assist at the local dining center, or take part in delivery of meals.
